The 7.4V 2200mAh 2S LiPo Battery is a highly versatile, industry-standard power source designed for applications that require a sustained, high-current punch without the excessive weight of a 3S or 4S pack. The “2S” designation indicates that this battery contains two 3.7V lithium-polymer cells wired in series. This yields a nominal operating voltage of 7.4V and a fully charged peak voltage of 8.4V, making it the sweet spot for a massive variety of hobby-grade brushed and brushless motor systems.

Because it is engineered for high-drain applications, it typically features a continuous discharge rating between 25C and 35C, allowing it to easily deliver the burst amperage required for rapid acceleration or heavy servo loads. To handle this power flow safely, the pack is equipped with thick, low-resistance silicone wiring and a heavy-duty main power connector (such as an XT60 or T-Deans plug). It also includes a standard 3-pin JST-XH balance lead, ensuring your smart charger can monitor and equalize the two internal cells perfectly during the charging phase.

Key Features & Functional Advantages:

Optimized Power-to-Weight Ratio: Weighing in at just around 120 grams, this pack provides ample runtime (2200mAh) without weighing down 1/16th scale RC cars or throwing off the center of gravity in custom robotics.
High Discharge Capability: Designed to sustain heavy continuous current draws (e.g., a 30C pack can output 66 Amps continuously), completely eliminating the voltage sag and sluggish performance associated with older NiMH stick packs.
Cell Balancing Architecture: Features a dedicated 3-pin JST-XH balance connector. This allows a LiPo balance charger to independently monitor and top off both internal cells exactly to 4.2V, extending the pack’s overall lifespan and preventing catastrophic overcharging.
Heavy-Duty Power Connectors: Utilizes thick AWG wire and heat-resistant connectors (like XT60 or Deans) that maintain a secure, low-resistance connection under high electrical loads.
Flat Discharge Curve: Maintains a highly stable voltage profile throughout the vast majority of its discharge cycle, ensuring your motors deliver consistent RPMs until the battery is nearly depleted.

Perfect For:

1/10th & 1/16th Scale RC Vehicles: An incredibly popular upgrade for Traxxas, Losi, and WLtoys buggies and short-course trucks, providing punchier acceleration and longer runtimes than stock NiMH batteries.
RC Transmitters: An excellent, long-lasting replacement battery for modern programmable RC radio transmitters (like the FrSky Taranis or RadioMaster TX16S) that accept 2S LiPo packs.
Mid-Sized Robotics: The ideal main power source for autonomous rovers, hexapods, and combat robots requiring stable 7.4V power for microcontrollers and high-torque DC motor drivers.
RC Boats & Aircraft: Provides the necessary thrust for small brushless RC boats and 800mm to 1000mm wingspan foam board airplanes without overloading the airframe.
