The WisBlock Base Board (RAK19003) serves as the foundational carrier board for the WisBlock ecosystem. It hosts the WisBlock Core MCU module and supports two WisBlock modules through its 24pin WisConnector interface. This design enables engineers and makers to rapidly build prototypes, evaluate different sensor types, and develop applications with minimal hardware effort. Because all WisBlock components and modules are industrialrated, transitioning from development to mass production is straightforward.

The RAK19003 supports three standard power supply options: 5V USB, 3.7V LiPo batteries, and 5V solar panels, with the flexibility to use them individually or in combination depending on application requirements. The board also enables lowpower operation by allowing the power supply for WisBlock Sensor modules to be switched on or off as needed.

With a compact footprint of 30 35 mm, the WisBlock Base Board allows the creation of solutions that fit into very small enclosures.
