Espressif ESP32 Pico V3 32Mbit SPI Flash Module

The ESP32-PICO-V3 is a system-in-package (SiP) product based on the ESP32 (ECO V3) that offers full Wi-Fi and Bluetooth functionality and integrates a 4 MB serial peripheral interface (SPI) flash.

At the core of the ESP32-PICO-V3 is the ESP32 (ECO V3) chip. The ESP32 is a single-chip solution that integrates 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and dual-mode Bluetooth, utilizing TSMC’s ultra-low-power 40-nanometer process technology. The ESP32-PICO-V3 module seamlessly integrates all peripheral components such as crystal oscillators, flash, filter capacitors, and RF matching links within the package, eliminating the need for external components. With assembly and testing completed at the SiP level, the ESP32-PICO-V3 significantly reduces supply chain complexity and improves management efficiency.

The ESP32-PICO-V3 features a compact size, powerful performance, and low power consumption, making it suitable for space-constrained or battery-powered devices such as wearables, medical devices, sensors, and other IoT devices.

Compared to other ESP32 series chips, the ESP32-PICO-V3 adds a GPIO20 pin. Additionally, to enhance security, the flash pins DI, DO, /HOLD, and WP are not exposed.
