Shelly Pro 3EM 3CT 63

The Shelly Pro 3EM-3CT63 is a DIN rail mountable single or three-phase energy meter. It can work standalone in a local LAN and/or Wi-Fi network, or it can also be operated through cloud home automation services through Modbus, MQTT, HTTP, and WebSocket. All inbound connections support TLS.

The 3EM-3CT 63 reports accumulated energy as well as instantaneous voltage, current, active, and apparent power per phase/channel in real time. It stores data in non-volatile memory that can be retrieved for a period of up to 60 days in 1-minute intervals. It has a real-time clock to keep the correct time if the connection to an SNTP server is lost.

Shelly Pro 3EM comes with a specially designed Shelly 3-phase current transformer. This small yet powerful CT measures up to 63A, making it perfect for accurate energy monitoring. Its easy to install on a DIN rail, saving space in your electrical panel. With Shellys design, you get reliable performance and simple energy management.

The device has an embedded web interface which can be used to monitor and control the device, as well as adjust its settings.

• LAN, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connectivity LAN connection for high security and reliability. Simultaneous Wi-Fi and LAN usage, as backup when needed
• Accuracy class B (active energy) Shelly Pro EM-50 has a measurement accuracy of 1%
• MODBUS support Allows for easy and fast deployment in existing industrial installations
• 4-quadrant measurement Measure capacitive and inductive load types of active imported and exported energies
• Energy measurement Monitors mono-phase electrical systems with up to 3 points simultaneously. Fast notifications and at least 60 days of 1-minute records storage
• Scripting functionalities Shelly Pro 3PM fully supports mJS scripting, allowing you to create further features and functionalities

Different types of actions, scenarios, and schedules can be set to sync your environment to your daily activities or business needs, via the Shelly smart home ecosystem, including theShelly Smart Control app– or link it with a popular home automation software such asHome Assistantvia aRaspberry Pi!

Five-year manufacturer warranty

All ShellyProproducts carry afive-yearmanufacturer warranty.

This warranty covers any issues with the hardware or firmware that exist at the time of purchase or that appear within the warranty period. The warranty includes all parts of the hardware, such as the body, mechanics, and display (if applicable). However, it does not cover consumable items like batteries or accessories, as their lifespan depends on how much they are used.

Features

• 4 Quadrant measurement
• DIN rail mounting
• Multiple connection types: three-phase or single-phase installations
• Current transformer connection: non-contact measurements.
• Phase sequence error detection* (option)
• Channel-to-channel calibration**
• No load threshold***
• Optical pulse indication of energy usage
• Real-time clock: stored data keeps correct timestamps even if the internet connection is interrupted. ****
• Data logs: up to 60 days of data stored on the device for later retrieval
• External contactor control: loads can be controlled based on device automation or scripts. Available with the addition of the Shelly 3EM Switch Add-on
• Accuracy Class B (IEC 62053-21)
• Photovoltaic ready

* The Device has phase sequence error detection circuits. This detection works on phase voltages and considers only the zero crossings. The regular succession of these zero-crossing events is Phase A followed by Phase B followed by Phase C. If the sequence of zero-crossing events is, instead, Phase A followed by Phase C followed by Phase B, then a phase_sequence error is reported when the Phase sequence error detection option is enabled.

** At least 500 W load is required for each channel.

*** In case the total load for the three channels drops below 30 VA per channel the measured power level will be displayed, but no consumed energy will be accumulated to the energy statistics and a No load threshold notification will be displayed in the Device web interface and the mobile application.
**** Shelly devices rely on internet connection for device clock. In case of installation network requirement or service interruption, the built-in clock provides correct timestamps for records.
