5x Victron 60A 80V Mega Fuse

Heavy-Duty Circuit Protection for Off-Grid and Mobile Power Systems

The 5-Pack Victron 60A 80V MEGA Fuses provides critical overcurrent protection for demanding electrical setups. Unlike generic plastic alternatives, this fuse utilises a robust ceramic housing that withstands extreme heat and electrical faults without deforming. This ensures maximum safety for your battery bank and connected equipment, keeping your power systems secure in harsh Australian environments.

Optimized for 12V, 24V, and 48V Applications

With a maximum DC voltage rating of 80V, this fuse is perfectly suited to a wide variety of modern off-grid and mobile systems. Whether you are running a standard 12V automotive setup, a 24V marine configuration, or a high-capacity 48V solar battery bank, it delivers consistent and reliable protection. The high voltage overhead significantly reduces the risk of dangerous electrical arcing during a blown fuse event, which is a critical safety factor when dealing with high-capacity lithium battery banks.

Built for Durability and Secure Connections

Mobile and industrial environments expose electrical components to constant vibration and thermal cycling. Engineered with standard M8 compatible bolt-down terminals and a 50.8mm mounting hole centre distance, this fuse provides a secure, vibration-proof connection that will not loosen over time. This prevents high-resistance joints, reduces heat generation, and maximises overall system efficiency.

• Ceramic Insulation: Highly heat-resistant body prevents melting and enhances structural integrity during extreme overcurrent events.
• Vibration-Proof Mounting: Bolt-down M8 terminals ensure long-term, low-resistance connections in mobile environments like caravans and boats.
• High DC Voltage Rating: Safely interrupts fault currents across multiple voltage platforms without hazardous arcing.
• Convenient 5-Pack: Provides immediate spares to keep your vital systems operational during unexpected electrical faults.

Precision Engineered for System Efficiency

Efficiency is critical in DC power systems. This 60A fuse is strictly calibrated to maintain an exceptionally low cold resistance of 1.017 m, meaning it produces minimal voltage drop (approx 135mV) across the connection during normal operation. This ensures your inverter, charge controllers, and DC appliances receive the maximum available power from your battery bank without unnecessary energy loss being dissipated as heat.

Mitigating Risks in High-Current Circuits

A short circuit in a high-capacity battery system can release an immense amount of energy in milliseconds, potentially causing severe damage to surrounding components. Installing the 5-Pack Victron 60A 80V MEGA Fuses directly at the battery terminal or major busbar distribution point safeguards your expensive wiring and power electronics. By interrupting the circuit instantly when the current exceeds its rating, it isolates the fault well before thermal damage occurs.

Versatile Applications Across Industries

These high-current MEGA fuses are an essential safety component for a wide range of DC electrical projects. They are routinely deployed in:

• Caravan and camper trailer dual battery systems
• Marine battery banks and high-draw electric winches
• Off-grid solar energy storage and inverter-charger installations
• 4WD power distribution and auxiliary power setups

Ensure your electrical system is protected by professional-grade hardware. Order the 5-Pack Victron 60A 80V MEGA Fuses today to secure your power system with reliable, heat-resistant circuit protection.
