Victron Digital Multi Control 200/200A / MultiPlus Remote Panel

Precision Power Management for Victron MultiPlus and Quattro Systems

Remote Control Panel with Dual AC Source Current Limiting

The Victron Digital Multi Control 200/200A provides a dedicated remote interface for managing PowerControl and PowerAssist functions on compatible Victron inverter/chargers. Designed for installations where the main unit is mounted out of reach, this panel puts critical controls at your fingertips, allowing you to set shore and generator current limits without accessing the inverter directly.

Engineered for MultiPlus, MultiPlus-II, Quattro, and EasySolar systems, this panel supports stand-alone, parallel, and multi-phase configurations. It enables precise adjustment of AC input current for two independent sources, typically a shore power connection and a generator, with a setting range up to 200 A. This dual-source capability is essential for mobile and off-grid applications where available power varies between locations.

Intuitive Control and Clear Status Feedback

The front panel features a 7-segment digital display that shows the active AC input current limit, along with source identification or VE.Bus error codes when applicable. Eight status LEDs replicate the inverter/charger’s own indicators, covering mains presence, bulk, absorption, float, inverter operation, overload, low battery, and temperature warnings. LED brightness automatically dims at night, reducing distraction in sleeping quarters without compromising daytime visibility.

A three-position toggle switch allows you to select On, Off, or Charger Only mode, providing straightforward control over system operation. The rotary current limit dial offers smooth, precise adjustment, making it simple to match the available supply capacity at each site.

Seamless Integration and Reliable Connectivity

Connection to the inverter/charger is via a standard RJ45 UTP cable (sold separately), supporting cable runs from 30 cm up to 30 m. This flexibility allows the panel to be mounted in a convenient location such as a main switchboard, cabin entry, or navigation station. The panel also includes wiring terminals for generator start/stop control, accepting conductors between 0.25 mm and 1.0 mm.

With a compact faceplate measuring 120 mm x 65 mm, the Digital Multi Control fits neatly into standard switch panels. Four corner mounting holes enable secure flush-mount installation, and the low-profile design integrates cleanly into any interior.

Key Features

• Dual AC source current limiting for shore power and generator inputs, adjustable up to 200 A
• Compatible with MultiPlus, MultiPlus-II, Quattro, Quattro-II, EasySolar, and legacy VE.Bus models
• 7-segment display for current limit readout and system diagnostics
• Eight status LEDs with automatic night-time dimming
• Three-position mode switch: On, Off, Charger Only
• RJ45 connectivity supports cable lengths from 30 cm to 30 m
• Generator start/stop wiring terminals for automated control
• Compact 120 mm x 65 mm faceplate for flush-mount installation

Applications

This remote panel is ideal for caravans, motorhomes, marine vessels, and off-grid cabins where the inverter/charger is installed in a locker, engine room, or utility space. It solves the problem of inaccessible controls by bringing essential functions to a user-friendly location. By allowing precise current limiting, it helps prevent nuisance tripping of shore breakers and protects the AC supply from overload, reducing the risk of power interruptions.

Unlike generic remote switches, the Digital Multi Control communicates directly with the VE.Bus network, ensuring accurate synchronisation with the inverter/charger’s internal logic. This integration supports advanced features like PowerAssist, which supplements limited shore power with battery energy during peak demand.
