2/0 Extra-Flexible Welding Cable UL/CSA

Extra-Flexible Welding Cable UL/CSA is a highly flexible and durable Class M welding cable, specifically designed to resist abrasion, oils, and solvents, while performing well in cold conditions. It features a fully annealed, stranded bare copper conductor made with 34 AWG strands for exceptional flexibility. This cable is commonly used for secondary voltage resistance welding leads and power supply applications up to 600V.

APPLICATIONS:
Welding Leads, Grounds, Battery Cable, Solar Inverters, Car Audio.

The total circuit length includes both welding and ground leads (based on 4-volt drop) 60% duty cycle. These values for current-carrying capcity are based on a copper temperature of 60C (140F), and ambiant temperature of 40C (104F) and yield load factors of from approximately 32% for the 2 AWG cable to approximately 23% for the 3/0 AWG cable, and higher for the smaller sizes. The sizes of cables generally used range from 2 AWG to 3/0 AWG. In actual service, the load factor may be much higher than indicated without overheating the cable as the ambient temperature will generally be substantially lower than 40C.
