6 AWG Tinned Bare Copper Wire, Soft Drawn, 7 Strand

Engineered for high conductivity, flexibility, and maximum corrosion resistance, 6 AWG 7-Stranded Tinned Bare Copper Wire is the professional choice for electrical grounding, marine systems, and overhead power distribution.

This uninsulated soft-drawn copper features a hot-dipped tin coating that blocks rust, moisture, and salt-air oxidation. Its 7-strand concentric layout provides superior flexibility for easier bending and pulling compared to stiff solid conductors.

Key Features & Benefits

• Tin-Coated Corrosion Defense: Soft-drawn copper hot-dipped or electroplated with tin to stop oxidation, tarnish, and moisture-induced corrosion in harsh environments.

• 7-Stranded Flexibility: Concentric-lay 7-strand construction makes it easy to bend, route, and terminate compared to stiff solid conductors.

• High-Conductivity Grounding: Delivers 130 Amps allowable ampacity (at 75C conductor temp / 25C ambient) with an ultra-low DC resistance of 0.40300 Ohms per 1,000 ft at 20C.

• Soft-Drawn Annealed Copper: Flexible, easy to work with, and less prone to work-hardening or cracking during installation.

• ASTM & Federal Compliant: Fully meets ASTM B-3, ASTM B-8, ASTM B-33, ASTM B-258, and Federal Spec QQ-W-343 standards.
