8/3 Type SHD-GC Mining Cable 2kV

APPLICATION:
Type SHD-GC Cable is for use in heavy duty medium voltage service as a power supply cable for mobile and portable mining equipment, loaders, drag lines, shovels, dredges and drills, where flex life is required, and for systems that require an internal ground check conductor for added safety. Type SHD-GC is for applications up to 2,000 volts and temperatures from -40C to +90C.

CONDUCTOR:
Flexible stranded tinned soft drawn copper conductor

INSULATION:
Ethylene-propylene rubber (EPR). Inner semiconductive rubber layer over the semiconductive tape

CONDUCTOR SHIELD:
Tinned copper wire braid/textile fiber (Red – White – Black)

CONDUCTOR COLORS:
Black, White, Red with Tinned Bare Copper Grounds and Yellow Ground Check

GROUND CONDUCTORS:
2 #10 flexible stranded tinned bare copper conductors

GROUND CHECK CONDUCTOR:
1 #8 Flexible stranded tinned copper wire with yellow thermoset EP compound insulation

INNER JACKET:
Black, extra heavy duty CPE jacket reinforced with textile fibre antitwisting element on outside

OUTER JACKET:
Black, extra heavy duty CPE jacket overall

@ 90C – 59 Amps
