Chain Return Connector for Chain Series (5-Pack)

The M5Stack Chain Return connects M5Stack Chain modules along their sides while supporting LEGO integration, expanding what you can build with the system.

The M5Stack Chain Return is a specialised connector built for the M5Stack Chain series ecosystem and Unit Puzzle components. It features two HY2.0-4P Grove interfaces positioned on opposite sides, allowing you to link two Chain series modules along their side edges. The connector also includes two 4.85mm holes that accept standard LEGO-compatible studs, letting you integrate these modules into broader mechanical assemblies.

This connector extends the possible configurations within the M5Stack modular system by enabling connections that wouldn’t otherwise be possible with the standard stacking interface. The physical durability of the connector means it can handle repeated assembly and disassembly without degradation, making it suitable for both prototyping work and installations that require reconfiguration over time.

The dual Grove interface design means you can pass through communication and power signals from one Chain module to the next, maintaining full functionality of connected devices. When combined with LEGO compatibility holes, the Chain Return gives you options to build both electrical chains and mechanical structures in the same build.
