Enerdrive 12/24V 10A MPPT Solar Charge Controller w/ Display

Intelligent Off-Grid Power Management for 12V and 24V Systems

The Enerdrive 12/24V 10A MPPT Solar Charge Controller w/ Display delivers reliable, high-performance solar charging for caravans, marine vessels, and remote off-grid power systems. By upgrading from standard PWM regulators to this advanced Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) controller, you can significantly optimise your system’s energy harvest. This advanced technology ensures your battery bank receives the optimal charge even during less-than-ideal weather conditions, partial shading, or low-light mornings and evenings.

Superior Tracking Algorithm and High Efficiency

At the core of this controller is a fast, multi-peak tracking algorithm designed to minimize power loss. It quickly locks onto the optimal voltage of your solar array, achieving an impressive maximum transfer efficiency of up to 98.20%. This means more of the sun’s energy is converted into usable power for your 12/24V battery bank. In many field applications, MPPT technology can increase the ratio of energy utilization by 20 to 30 percent compared to conventional PWM charging methods, reducing the need for additional solar panels and saving valuable roof space.

Built for Rugged Australian Conditions

Reliability is critical when traveling off-grid or maintaining remote monitoring stations. This unit features IP33 ingress protection to guard against dust and moisture, making it a robust choice for demanding marine and RV environments. The unit also features built-in temperature compensation (for lead-acid batteries) and automatically reduces power output if internal temperatures exceed safe operating limits, protecting the hardware during extreme summer heat.

Comprehensive Battery Support and Protection

As the industry shifts towards high-capacity energy storage, having a compatible solar controller is essential. This unit adapts to your needs with dedicated support for both traditional lead-acid deep cycle batteries and modern lithium banks. It includes a self-adaptive three-stage charging mode that helps prolong battery life. To safeguard your investment, the unit is equipped with extensive electronic protections against overcharging, over-discharging, and reverse polarity on both the PV array and battery connections. Note: When configuring for lithium batteries, the system voltage cannot be identified automatically and must be set manually for optimal safety.

Simplified Installation and Real-Time Monitoring

The inclusion of a legible, backlit LCD display removes the guesswork from your off-grid power management. Users can easily cycle through real-time energy statistics, checking battery voltage, solar input, and load status at a glance. Additionally, the common negative grounding design ensures seamless and safe integration into modern vehicle electrical systems, where the chassis serves as the primary ground. For advanced users and future system expansion, an isolated RS485 communication port is included.
