Exotronic Black Solar Panel ABS Plastic Corner Brackets

Secure, low-profile mounting for framed solar panels

The Exotronic Black Solar Panel ABS Plastic Corner Brackets provide a clean, durable and practical way to mount rigid solar panels on caravans, RVs, camper trailers, boats, tiny homes, sheds and other off-grid installations. Designed for framed solar panels, this set of four corner mounts supports the panel at each corner while helping to create a neat, professional finish on the roof or mounting surface.

For mobile solar installations, the mounting system is just as important as the panel itself. Roof-mounted panels are exposed to vibration, heat, UV, rain, wind and regular travel loads. These black ABS solar panel mounting brackets are built to handle demanding outdoor conditions while reducing the need for metal hardware in high-exposure locations. The ABS plastic construction is lightweight, corrosion resistant and well suited to Australian touring, coastal and off-grid environments.

Designed for caravan, RV and marine solar installations

These solar panel corner brackets are a strong choice for installers and DIY users looking for a tidy alternative to standard metal angle mounts. The curved external profile helps air flow around the mounting point, which can assist with reducing drag and wind noise when used on vehicles. The wide base provides a practical bonding surface for adhesive installation, while the internal right-angled support recess helps position the solar panel corner securely.

For best results, the brackets should be installed on a clean, suitable mounting surface using an appropriate high-strength adhesive sealant. Mechanical fastening with stainless steel screws may also be used where the roof structure, panel frame and installation method allow. Always follow the adhesive manufacturers preparation, cure time and load guidance, and check that the mounting method is suitable for the vehicle, vessel or structure.

Why choose ABS corner mounts?

ABS solar panel brackets are popular for caravan solar panel mounting because they combine strength, low weight and weather resistance in a compact form. Unlike painted steel components, ABS does not rust, making it a practical option for marine solar panel mounts and coastal use. The black finish also complements many modern black-frame solar panels and helps keep the installation visually consistent.

Each bracket measures approximately 150 x 90 x 60 mm, giving a stable footprint without taking up unnecessary roof space. The set of four is intended for the four corners of one compatible rigid framed panel. For larger panels, high-wind applications or more demanding installations, additional side mounts or application-specific reinforcement may be required.
