Applications

Power Line Surveying and Mapping

The Livox AVIA offers longrange detection that allows mapping equipment to operate at higher altitudes with greater efficiency. Its unique spot shape provides superior resolution for thin objects such as power lines, while the distinctive repetitive scanning mode enhances surveying precision and overall 3D mapping accuracy.

Forestry Surveying and Mapping

In complex natural environments, the Livox AVIA leverages its triplereturn feature to capture more point clouds from tree canopies and terrain details. This ensures highaccuracy LiDARbased 3D mapping for forestry applications.

Mobile Surveying and Mapping

For mobile mapping and perception tasks where space and weight are critical, the Livox AVIA weighs less than 500 g, making integration simple. Its builtin IMU continuously outputs posture and acceleration data, providing redundant information to improve mapping reliability.

Smart Cities

With a field of view over 70, the Livox AVIA captures larger scenarios in a single scan, while its longrange capability records distant details. Livoxs unique nonrepetitive scanning mode enables point cloud coverage to rapidly approach 100% over time, generating highdensity models with photolike resolution for smart city applications.

More Details about Livox AVIA

Long Detection Range

The Livox AVIA dynamically adjusts its detection range according to ambient light. Under lowlight conditions, it achieves up to 450 m, ensuring distant objects are captured clearly while maintaining low noise levels.

DualScanning Mode

Equipped with multiline laser and highspeed scanning, the Livox AVIA delivers point cloud rates up to 240,000 points/s. It supports both repetitive and nonrepetitive scanning modes to meet diverse mapping requirements.

NonRepetitive Circular Scanning

In nonrepetitive mode, coverage increases over time, improving detection of objects and details within the FOV. This mode is ideal for traditional 3D mapping and lowspeed autonomous driving.

Repetitive Line Scanning

The repetitive mode enables the Livox AVIA to deliver high precision and uniform point cloud distribution, suitable for agricultural fields, forests, hill slopes, and construction site inspections.

Light, Compact and Easily Integrated

The Livox AVIA connects via standard conversion cables and includes M12 circular connectors, making it easy to embed in systems with limited space.
