pingStation 3 Networkable Weatherproof 978/1090ADS-B Receiver

pingStation 2 is a dual band (978MHz and 1090MHz), networkable Automatic Dependent Surveillance – Broadcast (ADS-B) receiver with a Power-Over-Ethernet (POE) interface enclosed in an IP67 rated protective enclosure. PingStation provides ground, surface, or lowaltitude ADS-B surveillance. pingStation is robust enough to be permanently mounted outdoors in harsh environmental conditions, and small enough to be used as a mobile asset for roaming operations. Installation is simple with included pole-mount bracket, and a single POE cable which provides both power and data communications. An integrated GPS provides precision timestamping for messaging.

Multiple pingStation 2 may be networked together to provide a wide area low-altitude surveillance volume. Data messages are in JSON format as described within the pingStation 2 ICD

pingStation in Use

Airspace Surveillance

See how pingStation is being used in the UK to provide a Flight Information Display (FID) to Class G airports to improve situational awareness and reduce the risk of mid-air collisions.

UAS Detect and Avoid (DAA)

pingStation is a core component of the Vantis UAS Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) network, and of the NUAIR 50-mile UAS Corridor between Syracuse and Rome NY.

Airport Surface Monitoring

pingStation helps airports monitor and track operating surface vehicles equipped with VTU-20, reducing risk of runway incursion errors. Contact us if you would like to find out more about ordering VTU-20 units.

Integrated with Existing Applications

Virtual Radar Server

Virtual Radar Server is an open-source .NET application that runs a local web server. You can connect to the web server with any modern browser and see the aircraft plotted on a Google Map.

IRIS UAS

IRIS UAS by Kongsberg Geospatial is a situational awareness platform developed to provide Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) operators with the necessary situational awareness to safely operate Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) Beyond Visual Line-of-Sight (BVLOS).
