The CBST cast-in-place column base is designed to connect wood posts to concrete securely and reliably, providing a practical solution for a range of applications. It is ideal for residential and light commercial construction, offering increased download capacity for improved load performance.

This base maintains the code-required 1″ standoff between wood posts and concrete, which helps reduce the risk of post-end rot from moisture exposure. It also includes S-shaped bearing tabs to enhance load-bearing capacity and stability.

The CBST serves as a replacement for CBS models, delivering improved functionality while meeting structural requirements.
