Waveshare NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX 8GB eMMC

Description

The NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX 8GB module is a compact edge AI module for robotics, smart machines, industrial vision, autonomous systems, AI cameras, and embedded inference products. Waveshare-24434 is the Jetson Orin NX 8GB eMMC listing, using the NVIDIA Ampere GPU architecture, 1024 CUDA cores, 32 Tensor Cores, 8GB LPDDR5 memory, and the Nano-size 260-pin SO-DIMM module form factor.

The Jetson Orin NX 8GB module delivers up to 70 TOPS of AI performance in the standard configuration, with a supported software upgrade path to Jetson Orin NX Super performance when the correct image, JetPack release, power mode, and thermal design are used. For teams building an edge AI module, the NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX 8GB provides high AI throughput, modern camera input, PCIe Gen4 expansion, USB, display, networking, and NVIDIA JetPack SDK workflows in a compact module.

Because the NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX 8GB is a system-on-module rather than a complete developer kit, it is suited for product teams building custom carrier boards or integrating with compatible Jetson Orin NX carrier hardware. The Jetson Orin NX 8GB module is a practical edge AI module choice when a project needs stronger AI performance than Jetson Nano or Xavier NX while keeping a small 69.6mm x 45mm module footprint.
