Waveshare PCIe to SIMCom/Quectel 5G/4G/3G HAT for Raspberry Pi 5 SIM8262E-M2

Description

Waveshare SIM8262E-M2 5G HAT+ is a Raspberry Pi 5 5G expansion kit built around the SIMCom SIM8262E-M2 module. It combines a PCIe connection, 5G / 4G / 3G mobile networking, GNSS positioning, a Nano SIM slot, and a 5G 4-in-1 PCB antenna into one package for users who want a ready-to-deploy Raspberry Pi 5 cellular platform rather than an empty HAT.

According to the official Waveshare Wiki, this version is part of the wider 5G HAT+ family and is designed for Raspberry Pi 5 networking through the PCIe interface with support for PCIe MHI driver porting on systems such as Raspberry Pi OS and OpenWRT. It is a strong fit for 5G gateways, industrial routers, vehicle networking, AIoT edge nodes, and mobile broadband Raspberry Pi deployments where you also want GPS / BeiDou / GLONASS / Galileo / QZSS support from the module.

Important: this SKU includes the SIM8262E-M2 5G module. It is not just an empty adapter board.
